Health & Safety Policy
The management and staff at Peninsula Marquees are committed to maintaining a safe working environment. As part of this commitment Peninsula Marquees has a well-established Health and Safety committee which has been formed from each sector of the business.
The Health and Safety Committee meet on a regular basis where they discuss and implement points raised by the workforce in relation to improving the working environment and reducing the risks associated with their work.
Peninsula Marquees has and continues to invest in training of its staff to be competent in their chosen field of operation. Training courses completed include:
- National Examination Board Of Safety and Health - General Certificate
- NVQ Training
To assist in maintaining safety in all areas of operation Peninsula Marquees continually reviews a range of safe systems of work and method statements. These, combined with site specific risk assessments, enable all installations to be completed with minimum risk to Peninsula Marquees employees and clients and respects clients' legal responsibilities.
Our installations are regularly and randomly inspected by our Health and Safety officer to maintain the standards which have been set to exceed the minimum statutory requirements.
